You arrive in Entebbe where you will be welcomed by our driver/guide, who will bring you to Kampala for your overnight.

Kampala – Murchison Falls NP

We will drive to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, we will stop at the Rhino Sanctuary at Ziwa. Here you will track the rhinos with a specialised ranger/guide. We will have lunch here. You will have dinner and overnight in Murchison Falls.

We will go on a game drive in the morning. We will have   lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will go on a boat trip to the bottom of the Falls, to spot hippos, crocodiles, wildlife on the shores and many bird species.

You can choose for another game drive in the Park or a private boat to the Nilde Delta near Lake Albert.

We will have a relaxed breakfast before we drive to Hoima Town. At the start of the trip, we will go to the top of the Falls. We will have diner and overnight in Hoima.

Hoima – Kibale Forest

After breakfast, we drive to Kibale Forest National Park, where the chimpanzees live.

In the morning, you go chimpanzee tracking with a   specialised ranger/guide. After you will have lunch and a relaxed afternoon.

You can choose: a visit to the crater lakes, or a walk in the Bigodi Wetland (swamps), where many species of monkeys and birds can be found.

After breakfast we leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park where we have lunch.

We will do a game drive in the morning. We return to the lodge for lunch and relaxing at the lodge. In the afternoon, you go on a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, to spot hippos, crocodiles, wildlife on the shores and many bird species.

You can choose: a visit to the Kyambura Gorge for a walk to the primates or visit the Katwe Salt Lakes to see how salt is processed. We will have a game drive at sunset.

After breakfast, we d rive to the South of the Park, where the tree-climbing lions can be found. We do a game drive, in search of these lions. You will stay at a fantastic safari tented camp.

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Bunyonyi, where we will have a relaxed afternoon. You will stay at a lodge with a beautiful look on the lake.

You can choose: you can relax at the lodge, you can take out a traditional dug-out canoe on the lake or you can go for a swim or a walk. You can also visit the local community to see how people there live.

Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo

The savannah shrub lands around Lake Mburo National Park have a distinguished different vegetation and animal life than other parts of the country. It is the best place to spot zebras, the eland antelope, topis and different bird   species. The five lakes in this park attract hippos, crocodiles and different species of water birds. You can relax in the afternoon.

Lake Mburo – Jinja

After breakfast, we leave for Jinja, in the East of the country. On the way there, we will stop at the Equator for lunch, to take pictures and buy souvenirs.

Near Jinja, we find the sources of the Nile, the mightiest river in the world. On or near the rapids you can go white water kayaking, rafting, bungee jumping, horseback riding or quad biking. You can also go for a walk and enjoy the scenery, or visit the local community projects.

Jinja – Mukono

After breakfast, we leave for Mukono to visit the community-based project. You can help out on the farm (tea and coffee plantation) or in the school. Here you can participate in different workshops:

-          Traditional dancing and drumming

-          Weaving baskets and carpets

-          Making traditional medicines from local herbs, according to age-old recipes

-          Cooking and dining with the local people, listening to traditional stories by the community elders, at the campfire.

Mukono – Kampala

After breakfast, we leave for Cassia Lodge in Kampala. The lodge has a splendid view on Lake Victoria. You can relax at the pool.

Kampala – Entebbe

After breakfast, you can relax at the pool, or you can have a guided bicycle tour on the outskirts of Kampala. During the bicycle trip, it is possible to visit a local school and the local market.

You can also choose to go shopping in Kampala, visit the big souvenir market or the Royal Tombs or visit the Bahai Temple in the city.

You can choose: you can visit the Jane Goodall chimpanzee sanctuary on Ngamba Island (in Lake Victoria) or you can visit Botanical gardens or Entebbe Zoo. The programme depends partly on the time of your flight.
